Last Sunday, I watching HBO's Entourage (which, by the way, is finally back on track after a few lack luster seasons) and I was reminded of how damn stylish this show is. Vince Chase and company have really found a way to merge New York urbanwear and LA fashion without looking like posers. But, it is Jeremy Piven's super agent character Ari Gold that really hits the mark every episode.
I got to thinking, Ari Gold has got to be one of the best dressed characters on TV. If he is not the best dressed, he certainly gets his hands on some of the best suits. So, I decided to put together a list: my picks for the top three best dressed men on TV (suits edition).
It feels like forever since I have written. I can't thank all the readers enough for writing me and checking in for the past few months. I still can't believe how many people actually read this blog. I appreciate it sincerely.
Last July, I wrote a popular post called "You Need 1: A Tailored Suit." As promised, I will continue to cover overlooked essentials that every modern man should own. Up next, a great pen.
Even in this tech-heavy, gadget-driven world, you will end up needing to write things the old fashion way once in a while. When you are addressing a handwritten note to a client, endorsing a letter or signing off on a purchase, you inevitably need to reach in your pocket and grab your instrument of choice. And quite frankly, unless you are a 13 year old boy, a mechanical pencil or plastic Bank of America pen just won't do.
