Guess Who's Back!

First, let me thank all of my readers for sticking with me. We've been in the process of moving into new Manselle Media offices (massive renovation in Virginia's City Center district, pics coming soon). But now that things are settled, I'll be back to blogging.

What better way to jump back into things than with a post about Nucky Thompson's unexpected impact on Fashion Week? Nucky (played by one of my favorite actors, Steve Buscemi) is a character on HBO's Martin Scorsese-produced flagship "Boardwalk Empire." The show is about the men that ran Atlantic City in the 1920's and its second season premiered a couple of weeks ago. It's all money, power, respect, crime and great pre-depression era suits.

The smooth and stylish 1920’s trend has also been taken to the Spring 2012 runways, and fashion enthusiasts are already adding these pieces to their Fall 2011 wardrobe. Antonito Azzuolo, Brooks Brothers, and Prada are few of the many designers using a 1920’s inspiration for their upcoming lines. What do you think of the Boardwalk Empire look?

Cheers,
-JM
